AdBlue is a liquid used in diesel cars to reduce nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions from the exhaust. Despite the fact that AdBlue is an effective way to reduce exhaust emissions, some drivers choose to remove it. The main reason for this decision is that AdBlue is an expensive liquid that needs to be regularly added to the car’s tank to keep exhaust emissions at the required level.
Removing AdBlue will get rid of the SCR system’s problems and increase the comfort of the vehicle. In addition, we will get rid of the constant warnings on the dashboard or the failure mode caused by errors due to a defect in the urea dosing system.
The cost of AdBlue depends on the region and country, but usually oscillates within a few PLN per liter. In cars with SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) systems, which require AdBlue, the consumption of the liquid is usually around 5% to 7% of the fuel consumed. This means that AdBlue consumption can range from a few to a dozen liters per 1000 km.
If a driver covers 20,000 kilometers per year, for example, AdBlue consumption can be about 1,000 to 1,400 liters per year. This means that the cost of refueling AdBlue can amount to several to several thousand PLN per year.
To perform AdBlue removal, you need to go to experienced specialists, and that’s what we are.
